What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small values saved by your browser for a website. They can remember a preference or support essential operation and security. Similar browser storage can retain information without a cookie.

The Cookie We Use

NEXT_LOCALE is a first-party cookie set when you use the language switch. Its value is en or nl; it applies across the website and expires after one year (31,536,000 seconds), unless you clear it earlier or select a language again. It remembers your explicit language choice for visits to an address without a language prefix. It is not used for profiling or advertising.

Other Storage and Services

The current Tiny-FX frontend does not use localStorage or sessionStorage and does not include analytics, marketing pixels or embedded third-party media. Fonts are served locally with the site, so visiting a page does not send a font request to Google.

Our contact form sends information to Formspree only when submitted. If you continue to a page hosted by Formspree, that service may use its own cookies under its own policy. This is separate from browsing Tiny-FX.

Managing Cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Without the language cookie, you can still use /en and /nl directly; visits without a language prefix use your browser language where supported, otherwise English. No consent banner is used for the current essential language preference. If we introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and obtain consent before they are used.
